Scenic Air is a family-owned & operating HVAC company in Chattanooga, TN. John Giles, owner, has worked in the industry for over 50 years. He specialized his skill set over the years by focusing on the D work - Dirty, Demanding, Dangerous, and Different.
Today Scenic Air works with homeowners throughout Chattanooga. John and Joy are the team leaders, and the crew is capable of your toughest HVAC problems. Scenic Air works with commercial and residential clients, with experience in governmental, industrial, and entertainment commercial projects. Our passion and expertise is providing you with cleaner, more comfortable air.

John Giles
John started his HVAC journey nearly 50 years ago when he attended Kirkman Technical School. He spent the majority of his career taking on challenging experience, which he now looks to pass onto his team. He loves taking apart cars & his claim to fame is starting with a 1949 Pontiac and trading up to a Shelby GT500
Owner, Crew Mentor
Joy Giles
Joy is the heartbeat of the Scenic Air crew. She helps new crew members with technical ability, but beyond that she mentors them & gives them the tools they need to be successful. Being married to John, she learned so much about the HVAC industry second-hand. In her free time she loves video games, Lego Kits, and volunteering.
Accountant
Nancy Guth
Nancy loves her job at Scenic Air and has worked with the company for 9 years! The most rewarding part about her job is that she never has to worry about integrity - working for a company that makes right on their promises and does not cut corners. Before Scenic Air, Nancy and her husband were Missionaries in the Caribbean. She was Secretary at Bluewater Bible College. Her number 1 goal was to be a mother, and she is now blessed with 15 grandchildren!
Our Story
John Giles has been on a mission in the HVAC industry ever since he attended Kirkman Technical High School nearly 50 years ago. He know HVAC was going to be important. John quickly got a job as an installer after school, and he took advantage of every opportunity to learn on the job.
In 2019 John and his wife Joy purchased Scenic Air from a friend, and took over operations of the company. Today, John and Joy take a lot of pride and enjoyment in teaching & mentoring the next generation of Scenic Air.
